Thought I'd think a few things through, to convey to you, my thoughts.

I went to a drive through yesterday in a nearby local town and discovered the only way you can order is a huge screen.

From the car I can't do that very well so I drove to the window and told her my hands don't work very well.

She closed the window.  I decided rather than going through the hassle I'll give up my hunger for a spicy Italian

and go home and eat cold pizza. We really need another drive through in this very small town. The other choice is

a s....l.....o.....w...... place and the other day I drove there with 2 grandies and ordered a milk shake. They don't have a shake

machine! They also didn't have coke or whatever we wanted, too. So I laughed into the intercom and we left. GOOD GRIEF!

Take stuff off of your menu if you don't have it! Growl...grumble....complain. Thank God for Culver's in another town

not too far away! 

I'm thankful for cold pizza and little people who make me laugh. A few September pictures so far. Life is short! I must hurry!

I know it's not grammatically correct for all you correct people. I really don't care.

Tilly the dog is a faithful fearless follower. She's so little and yet runs in and out with the animals. She loves to go where we go.

We've had the extreme heat and colder nights in August too.

The problem with zero gravity lawn chairs is the struggle to get out!

My daughter has a beautiful garden of sunflowers.

And found time to do a 'Splashes' page this week.

Went to yet another funeral on Sunday. My husband's aunt passed away at 92. She had dementia

and didn't remember much. Sometimes I wonder about the why of everything. We don't have to ask why, but I do.

Then we visit with people who grieve over broken dreams and families. Sometimes I feel like life is so full of

broken people and broken health. There is some despair about that, and yet God can take our sadness and

sorrow and bring joy again. We wait and trust, even if our hearts and homes and health may be broken.

We can trust that God will lead His dear children along. In His way and in our day, though we won't be missed

much by those who don't know us very well, each family is important to God.  May God give you strength for

your day. He is coming soon for each of us. Soon, even if we live until we're 92. Life is short.

A few summer happenings in pictures.

I got a 'Splashes' page done this week. The main reason for my next book is for my children and grandchildren. To

keep memories alive and pictures, poems and verses for them. Hopefully others can enjoy them too. This page was at Warren Dunes, years ago.

May God help America be great again. We pray and leave it with Him!

A little bit late in posting because of,  I really don't know! It disappeared from my online world.

I didn't worry too much because I have years of my posts printed out. Someday I want to get it

printed in volumes of hard copies. I would encourage you to do that because if AI starts in on stuff

you may have historical stuff erased. Just saying.

He really was afraid of things in trees. It didn't help that one of us got a tick bite for real.

I don't click on the click bait. Have a hard time trusting anything. They want to erase your history so you can't remember anything.

I know that may sound like a conspiracy  but.........keep hard copies of everything.

I was sitting in the van and this man on a motorcycle came out with a new vacuum cleaner.

I sneaked a picture of him. First he tried to put it on his back, strapped on with his backpack.

I don't know how long he struggled while I watched furtively. I saw him leaving with it sideways

in front of him.

Sunday was drive what you want to church day. I got the biggest and the smallest.

Pastor drove the smallest and my grandson had the biggest.

May God bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you! Till next time.

And August goes flying by. Someday time will stop for all of us. In the meantime enjoy those flying times!

The last of the reunion pictures and a few more. Lots of memories in lifetimes and gets stored

in our memory banks. Pictures are a very good way to remember them. Take lots of them. My advice.

Honey's been in the office off and on today. Now his head is about to explode and I'm getting agitated!

Saturday morning there was stuff to eat. Thank-you to all the people who served us! It is indeed a gift that God gives back to people.

There are times I wish I could be a child in my playtime hours, climbing, jumping and all of that.

Maybe I should start slow with volley ball. Maybe if the ball hits me enough I'll learn to jump out of the way without falling!

I've called him 'Little Joe' ever since he was a baby. He seemed so much like some of my boys, I had a real connection with him. He's taller than me now.

There are also woods times to catch up on.....more coming later.

And Sunday we waited on the parade with loved ones from my children's church.

I am blessed and wish you blessings of truth in your lives, kindness shining in and in ways health, wise. That the world may know our Jesus!

We spent sometime in southern Ohio and 'enjoyed' smoke from Canada once again. It was much more humid down there.

Was glad to get home to fresh country air in northern Indiana once again! A few came Friday evening and we visited. Most came on Saturday.

There were the grandchildren for a 2002 photo shoot. Not all of them were there.

Here they were in 2023, with a number missing for this photo shoot.

Hard to believe how fast summer goes. Sometimes you miss a step and manage to catch yourself

before you're sprawled across the porch. It scares me badly to almost fall, but thank God for

reaching down and calming your trembling body.  I've almost forgotten the cold June we had. Almost.

A few summer happenings and such in our neck of the country.

I found an unopened Easter egg and it had blue slime in it. Sometimes eggs don't get found and it's a summer surprise.

Sometimes you find heart shaped sunglasses in the crowds.

Spent a few hours with someone I used to baby sit. They grow up but you still share a connection from years gone by.

Sometimes cats are evil.

The doves are pests around the cameras.
