I wish Canada would close their border and stop sending us their smoke. Well, I tried.

I really wonder....wonder...wonder about things that go on. If I were a conspiracy type I

might think someone started some of these fires to make people have a real reason to wear masks.

There, I tried again! I'm glad God knows and is in charge yet, or I might think it's something

to distract us from some corruption that's going on. You know what I mean. If you're stealing

cookies from the cookie jar you make a big distraction so people won't notice the cookies are.....GONE!!

My Aunt Freda passed away in Missouri. I was around 14 when they moved. I have some funny fond memories of her. Mom's family had

a lot of talent at being good story tellers.  That made for a trip that was hard for me. I get such a backache in motel beds, the first few nights.

Since I still have some stiffness from strokes and falls, if I sit too long I have a hard time moving! Someone told me that's just old age

creeping up on me. Well, phooey! I decided I need to stop for historical markers and such. Maybe I can do better and learn at the same time! Groan!!

I like the car, but I don't like the cold like the happy snowman does.

No! I don't know why but there it is. I've seen it before, but maybe someone can tell me why?

Actually don't do doughnuts much anymore, but they are good. I would miss coffee!

She wanted to be buried in a white dress. Her desire was granted.

A year ago in May we were on our way to my grandson's graduation in Phoenix so we stopped in and surprised her.

'Miriam!' she exclaimed.  She was glad to see us. I couldn't even comb my own hair yet, but Aunts and Grandsons are special.

There is a special bond between cousins that harks back to our childhood.

And I managed to get a 'Splashes' page done.

We got word that another aunt passed to a happy land where no death ever comes. Where it feels like spring and we don't grow old.

In the meantime we struggle on....miss our youth when it's gone.....but we all go on......with a smile and a song, if we can.

The older we get the more time flies. Sigh. Maybe I need to start drinking Mountain Dew? That's what Honey just said.

He said maybe we should have some today. Then we might die even sooner! Maybe we would be walking faster when we die!

Maybe we could outrun the evil. Maybe we could put water on  roasting sticks for a healthy snack too! Ugh. So many things

we try in the way of diets and soon we all die anyways. I want to ask for wisdom. He gives it if we ask. That's a promise.

So we ask dear Lord, for each task, O God, while we live, let us give....all of us to You and others. That's what we're here for.

Kind of chilly but beautiful. I'm glad for today. I couldn't do without it.

There are many things in life we can change but many things we cannot. We rest in God's presence every day.

He knows the way. He can strengthen our feeble knees and the hands that tremble.

I got some beautiful roses from my lovely Rose.

So many different bugs He created. He cares about little things and His people.

At first I thought this cat was born deformed. Maybe it happened after birth too. Maybe it's evolving into a higher cat?

I love this picture. A bit of heaven on earth. I think in heaven we'll be resting beside the lions and the kitty cats.

Happy times should never be underestimated because things change, always.

Found a Luna moth in the driveway.

They live for a week. What a short life.

I thought I saw it 'eyes' move. (I helped that thought along)

I am too!  I think I like warm better than ever before. So much is sinister and awful but God promised seedtime &

harvest, day & night will not cease. I don't pretend to know everything. I'm glad I know the One who does.
