A few thoughts and pictures before the New Year sneaks in and surprises us! We traveled to Flagstaff for my granddaughter's graduation.

It was a hard trip but we made it there and back again. I thank God for strength for each day! I have some health things going on right now.

I have good and wonderful help.

We passed by the western gateway again. I don't know if a light was shining out or if this was a reflection of the sun.

I caught it in several frames. It was the only time I ever saw the light like that.

There are miles of trains in the west!

Sounded like too many fines and rules for me. :O I remember during the 'pandemic' New Mexico was horrible. I think I still have PTSD from that.

Dad used to have an Edsel we rode in. I think some people thought  he was crazy to buy one. Someone came out and bought it one day.

It was sitting around here and I think he was surprised that someone wanted it for money! It wasn't much, as I recall.

I got a blurry picture of someone who hates people.

There are those who have a problem with seeing stuff on my website, like the pictures. Since I have been posting since

around 2005 I guess my website is out of date. Not sure how to fix that, but I'll try. In the meantime I want to wish all

of you a wonderful Christmas season.

I've never really liked my loved ones being on edges and ledges at the Grand Canyon.

May the joy of the Lord be our strength, always.

In cleaning a few things I found an old story of our old house in a photo album.

I made it in the old days of photo paper and such.

I want to put it in book form for my peeps coming on behind me.

The cactus bloomed for Thanksgiving.

We had food, fun and family around. There are many who have been closer than a brother because some family live far away.

Like Proverbs says better is  a neighbor that is near than a brother far away, mainly because someone far away isn't close enough to help you.

Many things in lives get missed because of distance. That's life and a law of physics fact.   Write 'stuff' down. Someday you'll have

ones coming from behind be thankful that you did. I hope.

The old barn that belonged to grandpa and my dad is slowly being fixed up. Many happy, wonderful memories for me in that place and making more happy times for us.

I really don't like cold in my nose and toes but outside is a good place to go. Little ones & big ones keep us going!

The places you'll go! We have a bunch of wild hair in magical places.

There was a magical moment when one of my sweet baby finches got a loving touch from a giant human.

I know they are not afraid sometimes but was surprised that one sat there and let my grandson pick

While going through a bunch of old photo albums I found one I made years ago about our old house.

I decided another book was going to sprout from that. Thankful for every track I kept track of. I'm going to title it 'This Old House'. Excited!

Well, at my age you need to stay excited about stuff, otherwise you die!
