There are some things I do not understand. On second thought, there are lots of things I don't understand.
For example, someone from the county wanted to see if there was anyone living in our greenhouse. Huh?! What?!
Lee joked and told her it was an alien landing base and such.
She said people sometimes live in places like that
to get un-noticed. Well, whoop dee doo! Maybe saw it from the air and thought 'illegal weed' grow? Then Monday
night around 11:30 (Honey & I were sound asleep and didn't even know it happened) 2 cops with black uniforms and
1 with a brown uniform (two vehicles) lit up our place, banged on the door, and my boys heard, and went to see what was going on.
They had an 'open' 911 call from our barn or something. We knew this wasn't true because some years ago, before we
bought back that piece of Dad's farm, a would be mayor of Elkhart, lived in our old milk house! I was in it one time.
It looked like a rebel den with pictures of Hitler. He drove a buggy around and had nowhere to take a shower. It was
a little creepy, but it wasn't ours, so.........that's how it goes when you have people with bad intent around. Back to
how we knew there was not a 911 call from our barn, was because there is no phone on the property! Is here
where I start screaming?
Good thing we kept on sleeping because you could give old people heart attacks or strokes
waking them up when they are in a deep sleep!! What is scary, is people who make mistakes that change people's
lives forever. Lord keep us safe in the shelter of Your arms!
A few thankful pictures for the week. God is good.
We had some November company.

My brother has an apple orchard, so we were blessed with apples from them. I admire his determination. He and his wife gathered and picked apples and sold them.
He is only 3 years younger than me. I praise God for health & strength and daily food and apples!

My 'Splashes' page of the week. I am taking pictures and poetry from the past and some poetry from my present mind too.

Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving and good people in your lives. God bless us all!
