A Graduation and Catching Up With Adventures
A little update on my health. I am doing well, but slow. I can write with my right hand, with a lot of effort.
So thankful to God for another chance at life. We have a new chance every day. I guess we don't think about
it that much, until we almost lose it. I combed my hair all by myself yesterday to go away for the first time
in almost a month. Elijah looked at me and exclaimed, 'Grandma, you look normal!' Little things make me
cry more now. I guess that's why old people cry more at precious moments. It's the realization that soon those
precious moments are going to be gone forever. I have a new respect for those who struggle after a stroke or
accident and how your life can change forever in a second! May God bless all who are struggling today.
I thought I'd catch up on a few April happenings today.
A few May precious moments with my autistic grandson. He told me about this scary railroad track he
had to cross every day. That evening we got to the tracks and no train in sight. He ran over very fast
and crossed the scary tracks, almost crashing into the bus pulling in! Gotta love him.
He got a 38.9?
I think I have that right. He thinks he failed because he didn't get 4+ grade average. He got into the PHD
program so someday I might be a very smart person's grandma. Well, I already knew that. I didn't need
to be told. I love him no matter what.
It was a very hard trip, for me, but God helped us moment by moment.
Now back to Easter and birthdays and such. I can look back and see progress. Still seems so slow. A brain injury takes a long time to heal.
I just realized I have a few pictures twice!
I got my toe and fingernails done. I had never done that before, but when you can't do it yourself, you do what you can.
There were some fishing times and birthday celebrations that happened.
I got a 'Laughter' page done.
May God bless all of you who pass by. We all need the prayers of those we love!
