Boy's Trip Finished and Update On Me
Thought I would explain a little of what's going on with me. I fell and hit the back of my head on the bathtub. It either gave me
a stroke or stroke like symptoms, including a droopy face! I went to the ER twice, where they wanted to take me to another
hospital in an ambulance. I came home instead. I have weakness in balance and in my right hand. I can't comb my hair yet,
which is pretty unhandy! Thankful to God for His blessings! I'm still a little slow typing. There were some funny things that
happened. I had never been to a hair salon. I can wash my hair and pretty much do everything except comb it. I told them to
wash and comb it and came home looking like an ugly old witch! They pulled it back so hard, my head hurt! It was my fault.
I should have been more clear on what I wanted.
When I get a little bit faster at typing, I'll tell a little more of the story.
I wanted to finish the boy's trip for them. My youngest grandson asked if I would do another 'Laughter' page, so here I am.
We spent a little time on Sanibel again. The fishing wasn't so good for us, but the ospreys were doing fine.
I felt like the guinea about the late April snowstorms but I thank God for the day and the privilege of living it.
And there's my 'Laughter' page. Thank God for grandchildren and the laughter in our lives!
Till next time, if you think about it pray for me. I'll do the same for you. We need the prayers of those we love!

Oh, wow. I will keep you in my prayers.
We have a good neurologist in town. When I had my stroke he explained that a blood clot explodes in the brain. He said the brain is like a city with roads linking them. If the clot explodes in a road it's much easier to recover. If it explodes in a city it affects whatever activity that particular city controls: speech, left hand, etc. He told us mine exploded in the best possible place "just like Someone had guided it." We all looked at each other and smiled. I'm praying that God will grant you complete healing soon. I take a blood thinner every day, just in case.
